Daniel Schwarz (1987) has studied computer science and media at the Stuttgart Media University and specialized in the field of interactive installations and generative design. AXIOM.3 is an interactive dance performance. It is controlled via a self-built street organ by the audience. The rotational speed affects directly the tempo of the music, influences the movement of the dancer and generates visuals on the boxes and the dancer in realtime. The stage design and the dancer act as a three-dimensional canvas for an undistorted and exact projection. Three computers, three projectors, two cameras, several paper cubes, a handmade street organ with a visual interface on one side, deux pieces of music and a dancer who moves as a living screen for projection mapping between diverse cubes with flowing dance motion - Daniel Schwarz has created a little masterpiece with this final work in the program of bachelor in computer science. Perfectly programmed technology paired with handmade artefacts lead to an incredible impression of audiovisual aesthetics in this multimedia interactive installation performance.
