The leftist Syriza coalition hopes to lead the polls in the Greek re-run elections on 17 June and form a government. The party wants to abolish the tough austerity package imposed on Greece and renegotiate a new deal. But will Europe, and especially Germany, agree to loosen the rules and continue bailing out Greece?
Yiannis Milios, one of Syriza's top economic advisers, explains to Gavin Esler why, despite mentioning German WWII reparations as a source of funding in its programme, the party does not seek revenge or conflict with Germany.
