΄΄On 14 April, the Commission nominated Mr. Dimitrios Kourkoulas as Director for ELARG A "Enlargement policy and Communication." He will take up his duties on 15 July.

Mr. Kourkoulas is currently Head of Delegation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. His prior posts included Head of Delegation in both Bulgaria and Lebanon and Member of Cabinet for Commissioner Vasso Papandreou. Mr. Kourkoulas has long-standing experience in foreign relations and we welcome him back to Brussels..''
