Born in Montreal in 1938 Robert Slatkoff has two visually oriented careers. He is a practising radiologist and has been an exhibiting photographer since 1968. While travelling in Mexico and Asia he discovered that synthesizing images through the viewfinder of a camera created a surprisingly heightened sense of reality.
Slatkoff has worked in black and white and color.Previous exhibitions have been devoted to an exploration of the relationship between form and colour. Images have provoked strong reactions and much praise
