The famous Hebrew slave choirunderlinesthe dramatic side of the opera, under the musical direction of FabioLuisi. The role of Nabucco, King of Babylon, is sung by MichaelVolle, while Anna Smirnova plays the King’s scheming daughter, Abigaille.
