'We are counting pennies' Retired expats in Spain face crisis over 'punishing Brexit' deal


''The number of expats who have registered to vote in the General Election is up by a third from 2015, among the 300,000 Britons who live in Spain full-time.
One old-age-pensioner said the sterling's weakness against the euro kept her awake at night.
She told the BBC: "If you’re on a limited or fixed income and that is your pension, it matters big time.
"You came out here a nice life, a relaxed life an enjoyable life and then you go back to penny counting."
