PANAIOTIS FATSEAS PHOTO ARCHIVE posted by KYTHIRA- FAMILY.NET

In the 1920s and 1930s Paniotis Fatseas took hundreds of photographs - mostly portraits - on Kythera. John Stathatos of the Kytherian Cultural Association "re-discovered" the Fatseas Collection of several thousand photographic glass slides and supported by Angelo and John Notaras of Sydney saved the collection from further deterioration. They have been cleaned, scanned and the best of them are being prepared for an Exhibition at the internationally renowned Benaki Museum in 2008.
